Where we came from
Our journey began in 2020, when three professionals from different industries came together around a common belief. Although our careers followed different paths, each of us arrived at the same conclusion: enduring enterprises are built through long-term ownership, strong partnerships and continuous improvement.
We saw an opportunity to build something different—not simply another acquisition company, and not simply another private equity fund, but a private investment firm committed to partnering with exceptional businesses, preserving what makes them successful and helping them grow responsibly.
That vision became Curated Capital Partners.
How we build
Roberto Lloren spent his career in commercial real estate development, where every project demanded disciplined capital allocation, strategic planning, and the patience to create lasting value. Experiencing both the opportunities and challenges of real estate development reinforced a simple principle: long-term success is built by investing in businesses and assets that provide essential value to the communities they serve.
Dr. Walter Heidary built his career as both a dentist and entrepreneur. After successfully founding, growing, and selling his first dental practice, he continued expanding his portfolio of practices while building businesses across healthcare, education, marketing, and real estate. His experience provided firsthand insight into what makes exceptional healthcare businesses successful, the trust that exists between practitioners and their patients, and the importance of preserving that legacy through thoughtful succession.
Jag Basrai built his career helping organizations harness technology to improve performance, scalability, and customer experience. As digital transformation and artificial intelligence began reshaping every industry, he recognized that the future of healthcare would belong to organizations capable of integrating intelligent technology with exceptional human care. Technology would become a strategic advantage—not simply a support function.
